What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at CFS Brands?

Recruiter is responsible for creating and deploying talent acquisition strategies to strengthen the organization’s capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs. Provide strategic leadership and management for company-wide employee sourcing, recruiting and selection initiatives. Advance CFS Brands across numerous geographic regions and professional communities.


KEY RESULT AREAS:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Full life cycle recruiting: source, submit background checks and drug screen requests, create offer letters, and assist with onboarding and new hire process.
  • Schedule interviews for hiring team, including developing candidate travel itinerary and arranging travel plans
  • Utilize multiple sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent for high-volume manufacturing positions.
  • Track acquisition metrics and utilize to monitor and improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels within the organization to create a partnership that yields success and credibility.
  • Participate in university recruiting and career fairs
  • Build relationships with local universities and schools, vendors, networks and organizations to bring awareness about CFS Brands’ career offerings
  • Utilize market analysis, company data and recruiting experience to recommend recruitment strategies and competitive offers
  • Stay informed of legislation, recruiting trends, and innovative recruiting techniques to recommend and implement.
  • Proactively review and refine processes on an on-going basis to increase efficiencies, foster consistency, and increase strategic impact of recruiting function.
  • Manage and leverage recruiting technology to enhance business results, provide scalability, timely information, and ensure consistency.
  • Develop a diverse candidate pipeline for the future and anticipated leadership roles, including succession planning
  • Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
  • Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and Supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
  • Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four year college or university preferred; or four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two (2) years of prior recruiting with strong interviewing skills


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

The type of experience required to effectively perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are:

  • High sense of urgency and organizational skills
  • Maintain an outgoing and professional demeanor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization within a corporate structure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • HR laws that are applicable to the recruitment process
  • Technical skills applicable to recruitment process: writing offer letters and other recruiting needs
  • Travel as needed

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • 10% as needed
