What you will do in your role
The Staff Recruiter coordinates all recruiting activities for the Children’s Home entry-level positions. They will be responsible to track open positions, post vacancies (internally and externally), screen applicants for the best suited position and schedule interviews accordingly, and coordinate job offers to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintain open positions log and track recruitment-related metrics, such as Days to Fill, Time to Hire, Turnover, etc. Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
- Partner with the Recruitment Director and HR Director – Recruitment & Retention to develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Review employment applications and open positions to match applicants/interns with job requirements. Assist in interviews of job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
- Perform searches for qualified job candidates/interns, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, or employee referrals.
- Hire employees/interns/volunteers and process hiring-related and/or transfer paperwork. Conduct reference checks on job applicants.
**Perform any and all miscellaneous job duties as may be required from time to time.**
Qualifications
- Minimum Associate's Degree in related field and 2 years' recruitment or talent acquisition experience required.
- A combination of a HS diploma and ample experience may be substituted to fill this requirement.
- Knowledge of online recruitment systems and methods preferred.
- Ability to travel to various counties for job fairs when necessary.
This is an in person, in office role.
