Kids Above All is currently seeking an intern to provide support to the Human Resources department. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in Human Resources and learning more about the recruiting and hiring process. Kids Above All is accessible to the CTA Blue line. (Located by O'Hare airport/ Hybrid position.)
Internship Summary: The HR Intern will assist with & analyze HR reports (new hires & turnover), contribute to recruiting, update position descriptions, as well as create job postings and learn the applicant tracking system (ATS). This is just a brief list of projects this internship will have exposure to.
Other duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the recruiting process (candidate sourcing, conducting phone interviews, coordinating virtual interviews)
- Employee engagement (surveying staff, participating in event planning)
- Assist with onboarding/off boarding process (job postings, interview packets, new hire packets)
- Various HR projects
Requirements:
Candidate must be currently enrolled in school pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
Must be team oriented with a high level of professionalism
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week. This is an unpaid internship.
