Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Lead to join our team. The Planning Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution.
Duties:
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of events
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements
- Oversee event setup and breakdown to ensure all aspects are executed according to plan
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory management
- Previous experience in banquet or food service operations
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Experience in interviewing and training staff
- Proficiency in hospitality management practices
- Background in hotel or restaurant operations
