Data Analyst

The company has built a cloud-based policy administration platform over the past three years, and we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team and help with our day-to-day efforts. Data analytics will be a key component to enabling users of the platform, providing insights to improve their operational capabilities and driving new revenue outcomes. We are in the process of rebuilding our data platform and rethinking what it means to leverage data going forward. Come join us to be part of the change. Responsibilities ● Drive requirements and data solution sessions with business SMEs to analyze, validate, and use data for consumption for business stakeholders ● Understand business user processes and design data solutions in partnership with engineering ● Provide subject matter expertise on data needs for project deliveries, scope, and deployment ● Collaborate with business and development teams to design and document analytics and operational dashboards, alerts, and reports ● Apply statistical methods and execute analyses, such as targeting models, segmentation schemes, test designs, program performance, and ROI ● Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources ● Run ad-hoc analysis for Product and Business Managers using standard query languages and operationalize for repeatable use with PowerBI ● Reconcile data from various sources and provide recommendations on resolving issues ● Support business partners in adopting reporting solutions and BI tools for self-service Requirements  Go-getter, self-sufficient, and willing to drive engagements from idea to solution execution  Deep critical thinking skills and curiosity to pursue open-ended problems via data  Proven experience in data and analytics role  Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports and presentations  Experience with SQL: working with relational databases, writing and debugging queries  Experience using BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker  Ability to provide direct client contact and presentation of technical findings to non-technical audience
