Scrum Master

We are seeking and exceptional individual with at least 8 years’ experience to lead a high performing Agile team in Scaled agile transformation. As a true Scrum Master, you will Lead by example, exhibit managing the team and being authoritative & biased.

You will be Guardian of agile ways of working & enabler for high performing team. The key focus of this role will be to inspire, influence and guide the team in best practices of agile development methodology like Scrum /Kanban/Lean/TDD/BDD and other technical agility practices. Ensures that the team’s work is aligned with the Program’s agreed design principles, engineering practices, governance, and quality standards.

Location: Duluth, Atlanta, GA (fully onsite)

Roles/Responsibilities

• Handle two scrum teams, remove impediments, schedule meetings, understand technical requirements to discuss with stakeholders
• Define Release calendar, understand product roadmap with release, coordinate and schedule releases
• Conduct scrum ceremonies
• Ensure scrum team metrics are green, and team has predictable velocity
• Report status in Jira and confluence. Setup boards in Jira and document the retro action items in Confluence
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Scrum Master with at least 8 years experience.
• Should possess good communication skills
• Should be able to coach and mentor the team to deliver to the program / project / sprint goals
• Should be able to motivate team and be a servant leader to resolve conflicts and blockers within the team
• Should be able to manage 2 PODs effectively and run the scrum ceremonies effectively and efficiently
• Should be able to plan the capacity of the team members and run /close sprints without spillovers
• Should be able to collaborate with product owners and dependent stakeholders to resolve the blockers efficiently
• Should be proficient in Jira and Confluence tools
• Should be able to run all scrum ceremonies including PI planning meetings efficiently and effectively
• Should be able to run retrospective meetings effectively and take the action items to closure
