Head of Product

To support this mission, we are looking for a seasoned leader who is customer-obsessed, data-centric, and passionate about the crypto space to help define and drive the Coinme roadmap with compelling, innovative fintech solutions to solve customer pain points. This role requires not only excellent overall product management leadership experience, but also direct experience with products and services that have large customer reach via mobile and web applications.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define, evangelize, and maintain strategy and product roadmap for Coinme’s Platform
• Lead Product and Design teams to effectively deliver features and products to our customers.
• Enhance product validation process to refine product market-fit that will drive deeper engagement and revenue growth for Coinme
• Working with our Engineering and UX teams to establish agile processes, frameworks, and tools to improve velocity, quality, and transparency
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of product managers
• Engage cross functionally with product groups, engineering teams, client facing teams, professional services and champion recent releases and guide future product direction
• Build strong trust relationships internally within Product and across the Coinme ecosystem with partners and internal customers
• Be responsible for internal and external communication of Coinme’s product platform
• Deeply understand the target customer and their top pain-points and needs.
• Partner with the Data team to define measurable metrics of success for the Product team, and drive accountability through OKRs
• Partner with Product Marketing to bring visibility to the product and features most relevant to customers
• Conduct competitive analysis and maintain current information regarding competitive activity
• Proactively think through organizational design and development as the team scales

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE 

• 4 years of experience as a Product leader in a consumer fintech industry (crypto preferred, but not required)
• 8 years of experience in product management
• 2 years experience in product leadership in an early-stage technology company
• A passion for making a social impact and helping build a business that improves people’s lives
• Propensity to make data-informed decisions, and can balance that with a deep intuition of how users engage with a product or feature
• Deep knowledge of extracting and delivering consumer insights via customer discovery, prototype experimentation, behavioral data, and A/B testing
• Strong skills in partner management and internal evangelism through verbal and written communication
• Organized, focused on results, and experienced in creating the frameworks and processes critical for our growing team (i.e. Agile, Lean Startup, Design Thinking)
• Firm experience collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver quality products efficiently
• Experience hiring, managing, mentoring and developing both individual contributors and senior product leaders
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity. Excited to figure out the solution, bring others along and make sure everyone is on the same page, then execute successfully
• Exemplify servant leadership - product leaders serve not only our customers but support the whole organization with customer-centric insights and ownership

PREFERRED

• Experience successfully formulating and executing to deliver a crypto-based consumer product at scale
• SaaS background, technical expertise, online investing or finance experience, startup history

LOCATION & TRAVEL

Coinme has employees located throughout the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and more. This opportunity is for a full-time position working within the United States. Coinme is a fully remote organization. This position does not require travel at this time.
