Position: EHS Specialist
Location: Raleigh, NC - 27616
Duration: 12 Months
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Requires formal education in EHS related field.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of EHS field, including concepts, practices, & procedures related to EHS.
- Understanding of OSHA, Worker's Compensation, EPA, DOT, and applicable State regulations (& how these regulations impact our business.)
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with root cause analysis (RCA) assessment and incident investigation.
- Legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
- Typically, a minimum of 8-10 years of successful experience in related field.
This position requires significant travel, potentially exceeding 75%.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrate knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience with root cause analysis (RCA) assessment and incident investigation.
Knowledge of Human Factors/Human Performance is a plus.
