Position Summary:
Our client is in search of an early-career HR Assistant who is eager to grow within the HR function in a manufacturing setting. This on-site role will play a crucial part in supporting human resources processes and activities within the manufacturing environment. Fluency in Spanish is essential for effective communication.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HR support to employees
- Ensure strict adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
- Engage in talent acquisition efforts for manufacturing candidates, including coordinating interviews, managing online postings and conducting pre-employment screenings
- Aid in facilitating new hire benefits orientation and annual insurance open enrollment processes
- Coordinate and oversee new hire orientation sessions, ensuring timely and accurate completion of onboarding training and compliance documents
- Assist in conducting and documenting workplace investigations
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with employees across all levels of the organization
- Update and maintain Human Resources documents and forms as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience or a relevant combination of education and experience
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to uphold the confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Capability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
