What Will You Do?
The Role:
- Leadership role in the planning, implementation, and management of SEO strategy for Confie’s consumer and B2B website properties (including national leader FreewayInsurance.com).
- Perform keyword research in coordination with business needs to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
- Review and adjust existing guidelines and briefs for copywriters
- Evaluate and establish link building strategy. Perform on-page SEO optimization for new and existing pages (title tags, meta description, keyword density, internal links, page size, schema, W3C compliance, etc.).
- Continuously monitor website traffic and rankings using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush or similar tools to provide insights, and recommend and take actions.
- Run technical audits and provide recommendations to development team (error reports, schema issues, canonical tags, site speed, broken links, etc.).
- Analyze competitor sites and provide areas of opportunity.
- Lead internal SEO projects across team members and outside agencies.
- Collaborate with content, development, and business teams.
The Perfect Match!
The Perfect Match:
- BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of search marketing experience managing multiple brands/sites
- 3 years of SEO on-page Optimization with strong content/technical SEO knowledge
- Experience with local SEO optimization (local pages, geo-modified content, GBP, listing, etc.)
- Expert in SEO best practices including latest changes. Advanced understanding of technical SEO.
- Advanced experience with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms (SEMRush, Ahrefs, Advanced Web Ranking, SEOmoz or similar)
- External inbound link implementation experience
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of website programming language (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
- Ability to multitask; strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills, and a great team-oriented attitude
- Preferred but not required: Bilingual (Spanish) and experience with Spanish-language SEO in USA
