Job Description for HR Specialist
- Serve as the main human resources contact for employee payroll, and human resources/benefits related questions
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll in addition to financial ad hoc reports
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience
- Maintain employee records ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality
- Manage the benefit administration process including benefit eligibility dates, review of completed benefit forms for accuracy, and submission of enrollment in a timely manner.
- Manage the open enrollment process, manage communication with insurance carriers.
- Create and maintain all job descriptions
- Assist with recruitment efforts including utilization of cost-efficient job boards as well as ad placements in local newspapers, trade magazines, etc.
- Manage PTO.
