Work Schedule : This role operates on a 4 / 10 work schedule, Monday through Thursday from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM. Flexible start times available.
Overview : This position is part of a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar project aimed at constructing a first-of-its-kind complex for enriched uranium operations.
This significant investment represents one of the largest construction projects under the National Nuclear Security Administration and marks a significant federal investment in the region since the Manhattan Project.
The new complex will replace a 70-year-old facility, reducing operational costs and energy consumption, enhancing worker safety, and ensuring the longevity of enriched uranium capabilities.
Contract Benefits : Eligible candidates located more than 100 miles from the job site may receive stipends for food and lodging.
Responsibilities :
- Review project documents, drawings, and other media to ensure proper marking per the appropriate classification category.
- Attend project-related meetings to provide on-the-spot derivative classification support.
- Contribute to determinations and the development of documents concerning unclassified controlled and classified information up to Secret-Restricted Data.
- Fulfill work assignments as directed by Security Support Management.
Eligibility :
- US citizenship is required.
- Candidates must provide proof of citizenship to obtain badge access to the site.
- Completion of a security questionnaire and successful clearance of site access requirements are mandatory.
- All employees agree to participate in random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
- Must be able to secure a clearance as needed.
Education and Experience :
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience are required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
