What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI Designer position at CU*Answers?
CU*Answers' Mobile Technologies Group is looking for a new UI Designer to join our team! MTG is a diverse team of designers and developers producing awesome FinTech software for our 300 credit unions. In this role, you will work with other UI / UX Designers & the VP of Product Design to create and maintain UI style guides and design systems for mobile apps and desktop web applications. Candidates should have an eye for clean and efficient design and possess the passion, mindset, and patience to provide detailed specifications to development teams.
Job Functions
- Work with teams to research, design, prototype, and test UI solutions through native mobile apps as well as responsive web solutions for mobile & desktop browsers.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, workflows, prototypes, and site maps to effectively communicate the goal.
- Create and maintain Figma design systems and style guides to hand off to development teams.
- Do research and evaluate user feedback.
Qualifications
- Two of more years of UI/UX Design experience.
- A portfolio, or equivalent, that demonstrates current or previous UI Design projects
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, prototypes and sitemaps
- Experience with web to desktop designs (RWD) or mobile or tablet responsive designs
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Proficiency in Figma, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process using team-communication tools like Slack and Trello.
- Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
