Crane Mechanic

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Crane Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of cranes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, particularly with heavy machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently to meet our operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and hoists
• Diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Service and maintain crane booms and outriggers to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with service technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair and maintenance work
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Crane Mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of crane systems, including hydraulic and diesel engines
• Familiarity with hoists, booms, and outriggers
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Relevant certifications in crane mechanics or heavy machinery repair are a plus
