Ideally, this role will be located within commuting distance of New York City in order to meet with and support New York based clients in person, multiple times per week. 10% potential travel to Colorado office should be expected.
What You Will Do:
The Client Lead will lead the client’s day to day operations, helping DELVE’s clients to mature in their use of marketing data. Acting as the common liaison between our internal team and our clients to ensure we are delivering consistent quality. This role requires you to be analytical and organized as well as creative in your thought process and thinking about client problems. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, problem solver and extremely organized with experience in Digital Analytics and Advertising projects on the agency side. Attention to detail is a must. Experience in Financial Services, Non-Profit, Education, Entertainment, or other verticals with recurring revenue is highly preferred.
This is a client-facing role, and will require confidence in managing both clients’ expectations and supporting internal teams to reach collective goals. Candidates must bring a strong understanding of digital media, AdTech trends, data strategies (as it relates to marketing) and different digital media platforms to the table.
The ideal candidate for this position would have a passion for problem-solving, strong organizational skills, have the ability to “think out loud,” and experience presenting complex information to clients.
Also, over time:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to become a trusted business partner for our client to help drive business growth for the client and agency.
- Function as an expert in our clients business, remove client obstacles, and support digital media and cloud strategies and initiatives.
- Experience developing client strategies, client research and campaign optimizations to weekly performance reviews/insights/recommendation, QBRs, and 1:1s with client leadership.
- Work alongside Media Planners and Team Leads across Media, Creative and Data to identify, develop and present strategic advertising and marketing opportunities
- Develop and present client decks to communicate key project details and results .
- Work with DELVE’s partners (Google, Amazon) and keep their client teams updated on the process, as well as organize cross-team strategy sessions and QBRs.
- Ensure the clients have a POC for day to day management and any ad-hoc requests.
- Work alongside Media Operations Managers to ensure client status documents, project trackers, organizational documents, etc. are maintained.
- 1-4 initial direct reports.

What You Bring:
- 4-6 years leading client experience (at least 3 years in a media agency) in an Account Management/Client Facing role; with 7-10 years total experience.
- At least 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing/buying media in platforms.
- Experience integrating multi-channel campaigns with $20M budgets in FinServ or Non Profit verticals.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of digital and traditional media (including, but not limited to, programmatic, paid social, SEM, email, direct mail, CTV, ect). Comfortable discussing media strategies and communicating results. Prior experience working hands on preferred.
- Strong account management skills, including organization, prioritization, ect.
- Experience working directly with clients to manage expectations, priorities and/or deadlines.
- Proven ability to lead strategic conversations with key agency clients inclusive of media, marketing analytics, creative, and overall marketing strategy efforts (including audience segmentation, technology consulting, website optimization, etc) to drive results and innovation.
- Expert ability to listen, understand, document, and unpack ambiguous business stakeholder objectives, then translating them into conceptual strategies/tactics followed by driving a team towards best-in-class planning and execution.
- Expert ability and comfort in creating and delivering executive-level presentations (using frameworks, visuals, conceptual diagrams, and captivating storytelling devices) in small and large audience settings.
- Collaborative nature - Comfortable working with multiple teams within an organization, from media planning to creative to media managers to data engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present to clients/partners.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary range for this position is $120K-$180K base plus bonus.
