Job Duties and Responsibilities:
What you will be doing
We are seeking an experienced Drone Pilot to help with our 5G tower buildout in innovative new ways. He/She/They will record information associated with field work activities and partner with the QA teams to analyze field reports. In this role, you will:
- Survey, map and inspect wireless towers using drone systems;
- Oversee and participate in the preparation of equipment and materials for each project so the on-site work can be completed properly, safely and efficiently;
- Support the completion of field work in accordance with client work orders, including by documenting structural elements and appurtenances;
- Travel throughout the U.S. to complete technical site and equipment surveys of telecom equipment on towers and rooftops.
Skills and experience
Successful Drone Pilot candidates have:
- Previous tower or wireless experience;
- High School Diploma or GED certificate;
- Ability to fly drones on tower sites and ground scan various structure installations and rooftops in congested urban and city areas;
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time;
- Current FAA Part 107 certification; OSHA 10 certification; First Aid/CPR certification required;
Ideal Drone Pilot candidates have:
- Experience in FEMA DHS;
- FCC Radio Operator License.
