What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Coordinator position at DISYS?
Title: Training Coordinator
Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension and converting into FTE)
Location: Lenexa, KS
Shift: 6AM-6:30PM CST
Responsibilities:
New Hire Onboarding Program
· Conduct new hire orientation for full time employees in all job functions as needed
· Partner with stakeholders including HR, safety, and quality to develop and maintain content of new hire onboarding program
· Creatively develop an inclusive environment that encourages questions and develops comradery amongst groups
· Coordinate the use of Training Plans
· Coordinate New Hire Follow Up program
· Assist with Benefit Enrolment if onboarding full time employees
Tenured Training
· Review Master Control to ensure timely completion of training tasks
· Review and edit Master Control Job Codes as necessary
· Assist with annual Ethics and other client’s University courses
· Maintain Training Matrix and ensure Training Plans are implemented and correct Master Control Job Codes are assigned and completed.
· In association with production supervisors and managers, develop and/or improve Standard Operating Procedures to provide up to date instructions for manufacturing processes.
· Create and provide training/retraining as requested by supervisors and managers.
Contingent Worker Training
· Conduct Contingent Worker Orientation
· Coordinate the use of Training Plans
Safety and Quality Culture
· Conduct Gemba walks to document process adherence and provide on the spot coaching
· Conduct Safety Audits to identify Hazards and Opportunities for Improvement. Provide training/retraining as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Previous Training Experience in a classroom environment
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and react appropriately to changing priorities and impending deadlines
· Ability to listen to, follow and relay written and verbal instructions in English
· Proven ability to build effective relationships in a matrix environment
· Ability to collaborate effectively with various levels and functions within the organization
· Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
· Intermediate proficiency with office tools
· Ability to work a flexible schedule
Preferred Qualifications
· Instructional Design experience
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
