Dupont is looking for a Global Reliability & Maintenance Business Leader (RMBL). The successful candidate will provide leadership and support tot help the business make good decisions related to “R”eliability at each plant site and for their R&M professionals. The RMBL ensures that R&M activities are executed following best practices in a sustainable and effective way that drives value for the given business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Global Reliability & Maintenance Strategy Development
- Develops short and long-term goals to advance R&M implementation in a prioritized way following Corporate R&M Roadmap and consistent with their respective business strategies.
- Monitors and drives execution of the agreed R&M implementation including integration work within the business
- Represents the business and collaborates with stakeholders (i.e., EHS, Finance, Sourcing, site and business leaders) including other functional leads, Coe, MIQA Hub, R&M Council and Core Team.
Global Reliability & Maintenance Leadership and Coaching
Strategically lead and align the Business towards a “Reliability Centered business culture through the standardization and execution of Reliability Centered Production Systems (RCP$).
Influence the execution to the targeted business strategy which aligns with the corporate planning and furthers the Asset “Reliability Management journey.
- Through performing RRA and BAPP processes target the technologies and/or manufacturing facilities that will bring value to the business.
- Drive development and execution of a SAMP and the associated sustainability plan by site or groupings by technologies or locations
- Actively champion, engage and develop capability in the business to the individual within the framework of the Reliability Road Map
- Actively support development and alignment of the business to the individual COT’s to realize the value as a result of execution of the R&M business strategy.
- Champion advancement of safety, PSM, and MIQA within the RCP$.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts within the R&M space
Standardization of key performance indicators and their use to drive to a best in class “Reliability Centered business culture
- Corporately defined R&M leading and lagging indicators (TEEP/OEE, Maintenance Cost, Proactive & Reactive Maintenance, etc.)
- Value Management Process and delivery
- Integrated Operation KPI’s where applicable
Standard Work
- Represent the business on the R&M CoE lead R&M Core Team through input to the use of the Reliability Roadmap best practices and tools, as well as help to align to the strategies outlined in the Corporate R&M SAMP.
- Work closely with the CoE and the business to implement and drive Proactive practices and to identify where we can eliminate and reduce reactive practices. Drive use of key tools and processes to this end (MTA, PMO, FMEA, Asset Criticality)
- Lead network of site Reliability and Maintenance Leaders to ensure that processes and procedures are implemented consistently across sites and businesses to increase rate and quality of Maintenance and Reliability improvement via leveraging learnings and communicating expectations that lead to improvement of asset productivity and value capture while optimizing maintenance costs globally.

Work with sites and Sourcing to help ensure corporate Maintenance Service and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) practices are followed from delivery, quality and cost standpoint. Help the business to develop a strategy for this aligned to SAMP.
- Work with CPOs and BPOs to improve Maintenance and Reliability performance via integration of R&M IT tools and standard R&M practices. Drive sites to help extract the full value from the IT systems and applications such as SAP PM, identified digitization standard applications (TRAKSYS, CIW) and Meridium®.
- Travel to production facilities for R&M training, trouble shooting, coaching, line-walks and strengthening relationships in support of the above stated objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, advanced degree is desirable
- 10 years experience as a reliability and Maintenance Leader
- Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to develop collaborative relationships, influence change and drive complex change management
- Fundamental understanding of PSM systems
- In-depth understanding of the Reliability Centered Maintenance and its processes
- Five or more years of experience in manufacturing operations and leadership
- General understanding of SAP-PM or other CMMS and Maintenance work management processes
- Demonstrated track record of influencing good Value and Risk outcome
- Demonstrated ability to interact and lead in a Global environment.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities and highly complex situations but able to crystallize these into specific actions that adds value to the business
- Continuous improvement process knowledge and abilities in practices (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
- May require up to 30% travel and schedule availability for Global (off hour) calls.
