Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Shipping Clerk.
The hourly rate for this position is $18 - $20 per hour.

What you’ll do:
POSITION DEFINITION: Prepare and ship domestic and international customer orders via LTL, FTL and small package carriers. Documents shipping transactions using MfgPro (ERP), Microsoft applications, logistics software and other software systems. Assists with inventory
control in shipping as required. Participate in our EBS Eaton Business System, EQS Eaton Quality System, Mission Statement and Commitment to Quality, EBEA Initiatives, ISO 9001-2015
GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:
- Stage and package material necessary to complete customer orders.
- Complete commercial invoices, bills of lading and associated shipping related paperwork.
- Load customer shipments onto commercial carriers with the aid of forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
- Maintain neat and organized shipping area and support 5S requirements in work area.
- Perform weekly packaging inventory/ cycle counts as required.
- Safe operation of lift trucks and other associated material handling equipment.
- Communicate with freight carriers to arrange shipment pickups.
- Dispose of all trash materials in the proper way and place.
- Complete daily shipping reports and maintain documentation to support month end reporting.
- Perform all duties in a safe, efficient manner.
- Attend all assigned training, as scheduled.
- Ensure that dock safety equipment is utilized during loading and unloading activities.
- Strive to make sure no oil or hazardous materials get into any water streams.
- Participate in our Continuous Improvement, KAIZEN and ELS initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
- Work effectively with other departments to accomplish site goals
Other:
- Will also perform other related duties as required.
- Will rotate shifts or work overtime as required.

Will cycle count and assist with physical inventory as required
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE \ EDUCATION:
- Shipping, material handling and inventory control experience.
- Effective and Efficient computer skills, general working knowledge of manufacturing operations, good verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma/ GED required
