IT Business Analyst

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for documenting and verifying business requirements for proposed modifications to IT-supported applications and systems. This position will also assist with configuring applications to support documented business requirements, as well as periodically supporting IT QA testing exercises.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Document and verify Business Requirements for proposed modifications to IT-supported applications and systems
• Configure applications to support documented Business Requirements
• Support IT QA Testing Exercises
• Provide end-user Application support
• Support training exercises for new/modified functionality implemented in IT-supported applications and systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering, Business Administration, associated discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience
• Minimum 5 years in a technology-driven role
• Experienced in using Microsoft tools (Office, Project, Visio, Teams, etc.)
• Experienced following a Waterfall (or similar) Software Development Life Cycle methodology
• Experienced in Managing Projects with multiple stakeholders and across multiple business areas
• Experienced providing end-user Application support
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and forward
• Knowledge of IFS FSM is a plus
• Knowledge of Visual Studio .NET 2013 and forward is a plus
