Day Program Staff

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist employees with disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functions
• Create and update records and reports on progress
• Plan and implement a job coaching strategy with multiple employees
• Assess the professional strengths and weaknesses of employees
• Discover what motivates employees and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplace
• Present skills to aid people in job searches
• Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure client and employee safety at all times.
• Uphold client confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain organization of client work/classroom areas.
• Complete daily assigned job responsibilities at the beginning or end of shift.
• Follows appropriate chain of command when faced with concerns related to clients parents/primary care provider, supervisors and other employees.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, personal accountability; looks for ways to improve or promote quality.
• Supervises developmentally disabled clients.
• Encourages clients to develop appropriate socialization, functional academics, adaptive functioning skills, daily living skills and volunteer or work-related skills and abilities.
• Will assist clients in a variety of prompts, including but not limited to verbal prompts, hand-over-hand, or other physical prompts.
• Maintains a professional and objective relationship with referral sources, employers, parents, care providers, clients, and appropriate others.
• Participates in meetings, program special events, training and/or workshops (e.g. community sponsored events, on behalf of clients, award ceremonies, career events, etc.) for the purpose of receiving and/or

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Riverside, CA 92507: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
