The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Logistics Manager to join the Global Logistics Operations team at our New Jersey Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountability for the service performance levels for a given Retailer(s)/Brand(s) of all Hub and lane activities.
- Utilize new tools and technologies in the daily operation to manage the package life cycle and on time performance for designated lanes
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of KPI reports/MBR reports.
- Create and maintain accurate Client Facing SOPs for all activities in their designated lanes.
- Manage all escalation issues in a way that ensures clients are fully briefed, brings solutions to problems.
- Engage Client Management Team and ensure all Clients KPIS and escalations are managed to closure
- Co-ordinate, manage and report daily reconciliations, delays and material discrepancies.
- Work on cross functional projects with other members of the logistics and other teams to continually review the service to clients (retailers and customers).
- Demonstrate strong customer relation skills and positive company image during all interactions with the Client and service providers.
Key Experience & Skills
- Experience in e-commerce Logistics and Client KPI Management
- Excellent operational and organisational skills
- Competent in the Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Previous experience in Fast-Moving, High-Volume Logistics and Supply Chain
- Excellent Communication Skills- Upstream, Client and Supplier Facing
- Experience of working in a fast-paced eCommerce business
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management
- Strong analytical skills with a solution focused attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and to show initiative in a fast-paced environment
