What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pod Washer position at ETE REMAN?
As part of our Pod Washing team, you play an important role in our efforts to be a greener company. By re-using our shipping pods we are able to cut down on waste. Your days will be spent cleaning, inspecting, and organizing pods so they are ready to re-use.
Responsibilities:
- Emptying material and debris, such as trash and oil from pods
- Inspecting pods for issues
- Utilizing an automated wash system to clean pods
- Visual inspection and removal of all stickers and labels from pods
- Stack and organize cleaned pods for reuse
- Follow directions from team leads, supervisors, and managers, be proactive and helpful
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily
- Adhere to all safety rules, have great attendance, and give it your all every day

Essential Functions:
- Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail-oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus
- Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times and may have to work with chemicals
- Skill and ability to work with your hands, manual tools (must provide your own), and other instruments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8 hours a day, and under pressure at times
- Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication, and decision-making skills
- Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
- Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
