What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Batcher position at etta?
Job Description
- Exhibit an excellent attitude and willingness to complete daily prep/task lists
- Adapt to accommodate the changing needs of the restaurant and guests
- Maintain a high-level of professionalism and community
- Retrieve alcohol from the storage area depending on prep/task list needs
- Meticulously follow batching recipes
- Follow pars of how much to make of each prep item
- Create a surplus of product to benefit the bar teams
- Support the bartenders preparation needs
- Clean and organize prep stations
- Share the prep stations with the kitchen staff, respect the kitchen staff and space keeping their needs in mind
- Utilize internal communication methods to communicate with the bar staff regarding product and ordering needs
- Other tasks as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Table
- Must hold a Food Handlers certificate from an ANSI-accredited program and an Alcohol Serving certificate from an ABC-accredited program
- 1-2 years of Barback/Bar Restaurant/Prep experience preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for a 6 hour shift
- Professional, reliable, friendly, and punctual
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work well with teammates
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
