JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Junior Exhibit Designer for Evo Exhibits, this person should be innovative and personable. They will interface directly with new and existing clients to provide unique, custom, and eye-catching tradeshow exhibits and environments of all sizes. This position reports directly to the Creative Director and will perform the key responsibilities under the guidance of the Creative Director or Senior Exhibit Designer. In addition to being organized, proactive and a clear communicator, the following also would apply:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be assigned)
- Support and assist Designers in Discovery meetings. They will do this by taking detailed notes, researching the client, and understanding show rules and regulations.
- Design and/or support designers to Integrate system and custom elements into purchase and rental projects ranging from small inline exhibits to medium size Island exhibits.
- Design within Budgets, Due Dates and Design Requirements for each project.
- Partner with Account Executives on RFP Presentations. Responsibilities may include designing or assisting lead designer with the design of the Exhibit and the Presentation.
- Interface with production and engineering team to ensure feasibility of design.
- Assist the Project Managers/Account Executives with design breakouts and overall specs for quoting.
- Participate and observe design presentation to develop interpersonal skills with clients.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Exhibit, Interior, Industrial, or Architectural Design is preferred. Other Design, CAD or Engineering degrees will be considered
· 3D Studio Max/Autodesk Products
· Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop /Illustrator/In-Design)
· Windows/Microsoft Office Suite
· Over the top creativity, customer-centric and strong communicator
· Actively learns about and applies new design trends and skills
· Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving and organization skills
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
