Position Summary:
The foreman is responsible for coordinating upcoming and current jobs according to the priorities of the company as well as maintaining good relationships between the general contractor's crew onsite. Experienced in installing/repairing water, sewer (gravity & force main) & storm pipe, pump stations, and related structures. Must be able to operate an excavator in tough situations, shoot/figure grade, read plans, be safety minded and be able to manage a crew. Making sure that you have the correct amount of manpower necessary to complete a job efficiently, as well as keep track of crew attendance. Your crew is to be supervised, trained, and implemented with all safety requirements. Overseeing day to day tasks, problem solving, and daily progress reports send to either superintendent or project manager at the end of each day.
Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret plans and specifications in order to build projects correctly
· Supervise, teach, and lead crews on jobsite
· Visualize, define, plan, and communicate.
· Communicate project issues and concerns with project manager, superintendent and the customer.
· Organize, plan, schedule, delegate work, labor and equipment. Adhere to project manager’s schedule and communicate progress.
· Assist in all project cost control and measurement tools being used on the project.
· Review, understand, and adhere to all contracts.
· Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
· Supervises the layout, assembly and installation of large drainpipe including but not limited to: Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP), Reinforced Concrete Box (RCB), and Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) on company projects.
· Continually inspects assigned work area ensuring results meet or exceed project specifications
· Coordinates work assignments with the superintendent and Project Manager to ensure safe work practices & deadlines are met.
· Maintain insurable driving record.
· Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
· Ability to multitask
· Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
· Excellent customer service skills
· Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills
· Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and use, and OSHA guidelines
· Knowledge of all equipment used for job and how to use it
· Ability to read and comprehend drawings and specifications
· Valid Texas driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
