Description

 The Credit Manager is responsible for the supervision, training, and development of the credit analyst team, working in conjunction with the Chief Credit Officer (CCO). Ensures that services provided by the credit analyst team are provided accurately, collaboratively, and efficiently to lenders. Routinely completes credit analyses on the most complex and largest loan transactions and provides recommendations on the extension of credit.

  • Ability to perform duties using credit analysis software.

  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information. 
  • Ability to lead and develop a diverse group of subordinates.
  • Ability to supervise others ensuring work is completed.
  • Ability to delegate work to subordinates. 
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills to relate to customers and employees. 
  • Proficient organizational skills with ability to function in a flexible work environment.
  • Proficient skills in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Education and/or Experience (Required and Preferred) 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or other related field. 
  • A minimum of three years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Current driver’s license to travel to other bank branch locations or customers’ place of business.

Work Environment: 

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. 
  • The work is performed primarily in an office setting. 
  • The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.

Position Type/Hours: 

This is a full-time, exempt level position working Monday – Friday with other days and hours as necessary to 

accomplish duties. 


Travel: 

Travel is primarily within the Bank’s market areas during the business day with occasional out-of-area travel for 

continuing educational opportunities.
