General Summary….
The Manager, Implementation Technology leads integrated, product and project teams providing Product Development, Quality, or Operations expertise on customer or company product introduction/launch projects. The incumbent must be able to manage a cross-functional team of OEM engineers, production control, test engineering, software engineering, quality, materials, and operations. S/he has direct applied experience and demonstrated proficiency in all three disciplines. Provides solutions and serves as liaison between business customers and technology development. Special projects as assigned. Holistic and detailed understanding of customer requirements and the ability to provide complete financial analysis of customer implementation. Servers as a central point of contact for a defined internal/external customer base to consult, implement, cost and optimization of company’s software products and systems.
This position will be responsible for…..
- Manage at least 2 full time exempt direct reports. Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skill development, recognitions and rewards, staff productivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
- Ensure that projects are following the correct processes.
- Lead the implementation, from start to finish, of the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within company distribution facilities.
- Evaluate and plan that the correct resources are assigned to the implementation team.
- Provide leadership within the implementation team for the validation and completion of the entire process.
- Work with the design team to make sure all documentation is up to date, of the quality needed, and follows the SDLC process.
- Financial analysis for customer implementations
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users.
- Ensure that the design of the solution is sound and provides what is required. Ensure support resources have appropriate training and documentation to resolve issues.
- Work to establish, maintain, and update strategy (methodology, processes, standards, tools, services) used in implementing supply chain systems.
- Keep communications flowing between various systems and operations team during the projects.
- Understand the details of the overall implementation and requirements to ensure a complete end-to-end solution.
- Work with implementation and program management teams to transition new customer and development projects into normal day-to-day activities.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes or technologies in area(s) of assignment.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, the business community, external customers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Stay up-to-date on current and future warehouse execution technologies, capabilities and trends.
- Evaluate resources on the project and provide feedback to Managing Directors about performance, training and other action required.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems and/or equivalent training in related field preferred and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Five (5) plus years of management/supervisory experience.
- Five (5) years of experience implementing and supporting Manhattan WMOS systems is required.
- Strong operational knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management.
- Knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms such as UNIX and/or Linux servers and Oracle relational databases preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL for application development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, work instructions, process maps and/or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of internal and external customers.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Basic understanding of and willingness to learn and adopt professional and industry standards.
