Payroll Specialist

Position Summary:

FTC Staff for 14 months who will act as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s). Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals. Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in accordance with local statutory requirements and regulations
• Executing end to end payroll processes, managing the complete cycle for an outsourced payroll solution
• Working closely with payroll service provider, ensuring best in class service delivery and controls on payroll processing
• Prepare Payroll master data inputs to the payroll service provider, ensuring accurate handling of data.
• Process new hires and leavers payroll accurately in accordance with state rules and laws.
• Provide necessary support and cross coverage to the other Payroll Specialists in the Regional Payroll Team, on overall team responsibilities.
• Preparation of Payroll Costing report to respective ledger controller.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliation queries.
• Respond grievances of employees related to all areas of payroll
• Handle Income tax declaration and full and final settlements timely and accurately.
• Review and improve payroll policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
