What does a great Client Project Coordinator do at Fiserv?
As a Project Coordinator, you will be aligned with our Issuer Solutions business unit and you will help ensure that Fiserv delivers on its commitments to provide our strategic partners with the tools they need to thrive in a hyper-competitive market. In this role, you will be working at the heart of the Issuer Solutions business.
Specifically, you will be responsible for supporting Client Relationship Managers and Product Managers with product development project intake, determining prioritization of these projects, communicating decisions to key stakeholders, and maintaining detailed project data. As a liaison between Client Representatives, Product Managers, and Development Teams, you will be instrumental in ensuring we are prioritizing our implementation and development projects effectively, and in turn, ensuring our client partners feel that their development needs are met while ensuring Fiserv maintains a strong product innovation roadmap.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate cross-functionally to ensure that project prioritization decisions are understood by all organizational stakeholders involved including partner representative teams, executive leadership, implementation teams, product owners, and others
- Listen to stakeholders needs and successfully communicate and influence leadership on why decisions are advantageous for Fiserv
- Identify improvement opportunities to gain efficiencies in project prioritization, more effectively maintain project data for different audiences, and mature reporting capabilities in service and delivery
- Think critically and translate words into data through interfacing with client and product representatives to provide project information, extracting and updating project data, and monitoring project process and status
- Move data quickly and effectively through compiling various standing and ad hoc reports
- Interface with colleagues managing Client relationships and Financial Products to update them on operational processes related to project prioritization and project status
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, IT, or a related field required
- Experience or high degree of interest in the financial services/fintech space
- Strong executive presence and business acumen – ability to facilitate meetings and interact with internal clients of all levels
- Solid thought leadership and the ability to influence others through collaborative efforts
- Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of constituencies
- A high degree of adaptability and flexibility to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Team Player
- Capable of working under tight deadlines
Job-Related Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in business and/or IT and in project management/reporting
- Experience in data-driven management, metrics, and reporting
- Experience in supporting product teams is a plus
