Lead Server
Part Time | Between 7 am to 7:30 pm | Supervisor Role
Pay-rate between $17.65 - $19.76/hour

The Lead Server is responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience for our residents as well as providing assistance in all dining functions.
Requirements for a Cloverwood Lead Server:
- High School or GED
- Minimum of one year job experience
- Requires ability to relate and be respectful to a wide variety of people and provide superior customer service to all including Residents, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors
- Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities for a Cloverwood Lead Server:
- Works with the Department Management as necessary and implements recommended changes as required.
- Ensures that all dining service procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Develops and maintains a good working rapport with internal department staff, as well as with other departments within the facility to assure that food service is properly maintained to exceed the needs of the residents.
- Overseas areas where food is served (cafes, club room, dining rooms, kitchens and areas where catering functions are served)
- Reviews and checks all employees' side work before employees leave for the day
- Maintains and inspects kitchen and service areas for sanitation and cleanliness
- Trains, motivates and disciplines employees as needed
- Ensures overall employee safety through the implementation of Friendly Senior Living safety and procedures.
- Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks
- Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen stuff are running out of any item
- Handle the table bookings, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assisting with special events
- Other duties as necessary
