GENERAL SUMMARY:
In this position the employee will process customer transactions, run proof work and cross-sell bank products accurately and efficiently. They will consistently deliver Frontier Banks high level of customer service by adhering to the dress code, presenting themselves in a professional manner and connecting with each customer on a personal level.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Process customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and preparing change orders. Verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue receipts; examine checks deposited to determine funds availability according to policies, procedures and regulations.
- Support and assist branch in achieving departmental, branch and individual goals (including, but not limited to, referring business, cross-selling products, promoting services, etc.)
- Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.
- Balance cash drawer daily including buying and selling currency and ensuring drawer cash limits are not exceeded. Run proof work and maintain appropriate currency logs. Assist customers with online banking, debit card and other account inquiries.
- Maintain high level of accuracy and efficiency within the job responsibilities.
- Follow bank policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Knowledge of teller processes and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers, and co-workers, while providing excellent service.
- Knowledge of basic computer functions
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to create an organized, efficient work environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
