What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailroom Clerk position at G-III Apparel Group?
Mailroom Clerk
Hours of operation:
9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday (longer hours may be required to complete the task).
Responsibilities:
- Receive mail coming into the organization.
- Record the date of receipt, name of the sender, and location of the receiver
- Sort the mail or packages according to locations or departments
- Deliver mail to departments within the organization; and collect mail to be sent out.
- Delivery run to company venders
- Pull clothing racks between company building locations and or venders.
- Perform business related errands such as bank deposits etc.
- May be responsible for procuring materials used by the mailroom
- Ensure that the mailroom and surroundings are always neat
- Maintain high level of confidentiality in handling mail
- Occasional special projects inside & outside the organizations
- Assist in training newly employed mail clerks.
Qualification requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a mailroom environment
- High School Education
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The pay range for this position is: $16 per hour/$33,280 per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week)- $18 per hour/ $37,440 per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week).
