MONDAY-THURSDAY 6A-6P
$2500 sign on bonus paid in 4 increments of $625 at 90, 180, 270, and 365 days
We are looking for a highly competent and well-organized professional nurse leader who values safety, security and resident wellness above all else. We focus on providing the best care possible while ensuring resident satisfaction in every interaction. The Charge Nurse is responsible for making sure those values are reflected in their staff at all times. Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are both encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities and Purpose
- Manage the nursing care for all residents.
- Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
- Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
- Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
- Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
- Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.
Desired Experience and Education
- Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse License (LPN).
- Up to date First Aid and CPR certification.
- One (1) or more years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.
