We are seeking a skilled Commercial Credit Analyst with a strong background in Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and Agricultural (Ag) lending to join a reputable bank in Champaign, IL.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough credit analysis for C&I, CRE, and Ag loan requests, ensuring comprehensive risk assessment and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate borrower financial statements, credit reports, and collateral valuations to determine creditworthiness and loan structure.
- Prepare detailed credit memorandums and present findings to senior management and credit committees for loan approvals.
- Monitor and analyze existing loan portfolios, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate actions to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to maintain strong client relationships and provide insights on credit-related matters.
- Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact lending practices.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial credit analysis, with demonstrable expertise in C&I, CRE, and Ag lending.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound credit decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present analysis and recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
