Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nurse Recruiter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top nursing talent for our organization. This position will start out remote but eventually will be onsite in Omaha, Nebraska.
Duties
- Source and recruit qualified nursing candidates for open positions
- Conduct pre-screening interviews and assessments to ensure candidates meet our requirements
- Manage the entire recruitment process from application to offer acceptance
- Utilize various recruitment tools, including social media, job boards, and employee referrals
- Utilize executive recruiting techniques to attract high-caliber nursing talent
- Develop and maintain a network of nursing professionals to access passive job seekers
- Conduct cold calls to generate leads and schedule interviews
- Negotiate salary and benefits with candidates
- Coordinate with Admin Team to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment/talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with technical recruiting tools and techniques
- Experience with employee orientation and onboarding processes
- Ability to lead generation efforts and build a network of nursing professionals
- Familiarity with talent acquisition strategies and best practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and professional attitude
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare staffing, nursing, or recruitment is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus but will train if no experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
