This is a base salary commission position!
The account manager/inside sales representative establishes a partnership with and ensures the long-term success of our customers while meeting sales and margin goals. The Account Manager responsible for building consultative and ongoing relationships with our current customers along with new customers.
The ideal account manager/inside sales representative can identify sales opportunities and maximize sales of assigned accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide consultative sales solutions and services while helping our customers with their Lab & Safety needs
- Responsible for growing sales and profits by educating and suggesting alternative solutions.
- Serve as the customer’s point of contact, working closely with the customer to gain insights and opportunities.
- Regularly contact customers via phone/email as needed.
- Review accounts regularly to identify additional sales opportunities.
- Resolve customer issues and manage/escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Properly qualify sales leads and ask discovery questions that highlight customers goals, processes, and current pain points.
- Work with the marketing team to engage prospective customers in targeted campaigns and follow through.
- Effectively communicate value proposition to prospects.
- Generate reports of call and lead qualifying activity as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of inside sales/account management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of Medical, Cleanroom, Lab or Safety industry is highly desired, but not necessary.
- B2B inside sales experience
- Ability to work independently while still meeting objectives.
- Excellent communication skills via phone, email, etc.
- Self-disciplined, highly motivated person who displays perseverance and determination.
- Creative and outside the box thinker
- Active listener, engaging conversationalist who know the right questions and when and how to ask them
- Always thinking one step ahead to ensure success.
- Exceptional time management skills
