Job Summary and Qualifications
The Monitor Technician is responsible for the equipment set up and continuous cardiac observation of telemetry patients at a centralized station.

What you will do in this role
- You will set up telemetry equipment for new admissions according to established procedures.
- You will interpret and document rhythm strips at regular intervals.
- You will report any cardiac arrhythmias or rhythm changes to the primary nurse.
- You will report changes in pulse oximetry data to the primary nurse.
- You will assist in maintaining telemetry supplies.
What qualifications you will need
Applicant must successfully complete the monitor technician credentialing process within the first three weeks of employment.
We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Children's healthcare services.
We offer the region's only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU.
We have four emergency rooms, including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs located in Olathe and Shawnee.
