Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with procedures such as dermal fillers and spinal taps
- Manage airway and provide respiratory support as needed
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth for documentation and coding
Skills:
- Proficient in aseptic technique and maintaining a sterile environment
- Knowledge of toddler care and development
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient information
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
