Job Description: The Customer Care Specialists are responsible for interacting with and building positive relationships with customers from "behind the glass." S/he shall spend time with each customer and listen to their needs and concerns, and make appropriate recommendations about products and quantity, and then dispense the products accordingly. The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for promptly, accurately, professionally, and courteously receiving and directing all telephone calls, customers and visitors. S/he is responsible for helping to meet the needs of the customers and for communicating dispensary procedures and policies in a professional and effective way, ensuring compliance with Nevada and local laws regarding cannabis. Therefore, the Customer Care Specialist must have a drive to help people and have a solid knowledge of the products as well as any other products available (such as edibles). S/he must be able to explain the effects of various products and explain how each one can reduce a customer’s symptoms for different ailments. The Customer Care Specialist is expected to stay current and knowledgeable about the products offered by Tree of Life Dispensary and in the industry. The Customer Care Specialist will also prepare and process outgoing and incoming mail and deliveries, including signing for deliveries when necessary and notifying recipients. S/he ensures that all common areas are kept neat, clean and stocked with appropriate supplies. S/he will maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed. S/he will also monitor building access and the safety cameras. The Customer Care Specialist must also be computer literate and able to use Point of Sale (POS) equipment and software. Requirements:
- Must be 21 or over
- Knowledge and understanding of the products and Nevada cannabis laws. Specifically, must have knowledge of various strains, genetics, THC content, and all relevant terminology.
- Computer literacy, including experience with social media
- Competency in or ability to gain competency in POS system
- Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills, positive and cheerful attitude, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Must be reliable, honest, responsible and mature with a strong work ethic.
- Clean and well organized
- Experience in the service industry preferred
- Successful completion of a thorough personal reference check and background check from the Cannabis Control Board. Note that any applicant with a violent felony or drug-related offense (Conclusion of sentence, probation, and/or incarceration within the past 10 years) is not eligible to become a dispensary agent.

- Authority to handle and dispense cannabis.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and customers as they enter the facility.
- Ensure compliance with Nevada state and local laws by requesting from each customer his/her personal identification
- Explain the dispensary’s procedures and policies to customer and ensure smooth processing.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory is reflected on our online menu by conducting frequent inventory assessments of products in the fulfillment and point-of-sale areas
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
- Collect payments, handle cash and change.
- Complete logs and reports.
- Listen and respond to customers’ needs and questions and encourage customers to review Customer Education Materials and other information found at the Customer Consultation and Display Area
- Handle phones, paper work and filing (paper and electronic).
- Receive, record and process deliveries.
- Ensure that all common areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor visitor and customer access, monitor safety cameras and maintain security awareness
- Spend time with each customer and listen to their needs and concerns and make appropriate recommendations about products and quantity.
- Counsel customers about the available products, benefits and indications, as well as any side effects.
- Assist with inventory audits
- Process orders using POS system
- Assist in other duties as needed and directed
- Assist with monthly inventory audits
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
