What are the responsibilities and job description for the Massage Therapist position at Hilton Short Pump?
The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is currently seeking massage therapists to work in our Aura Spa, providing a memorable, quality experience for our guests. This position is a contractual relationship for booth rental rather than direct employment.
We are owned and operated by Shamin Hotels, central Virginia's largest hotel management company. Having tripled in size to more than 70 hotels over the past ten years and with an aggressive portfolio across full and select service brands, we own and operate hotels under Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, InterContinental and Choice flags.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Consistently exhibit core values and standards of behavior to meet Hilton and industry standards of excellence.
- Greet guests warmly and provide a pleasant and comfortable spa experience, ensuring guest is comfortable and being well attended.
- Effectively communicate with guests to confirm services and to review special needs
- Perform treatment following spa and professional protocols
- Maintain a clean work area and sanitize any instruments
- Restock and replace linens, supplies and other items as necessary to ensure there is no delay between treatments.
- Complete required reports and paperwork as directed.
- Maintain guest confidentiality
Requirements:
- Must possess proper national or state license for specific therapy
- Prior hotel or equivalent guest service experience preferred
- Prior spa experience required
