Intertek is actively seeking a Recruiter to join our team in Arlington Heights, Illinois that will be dedicated to support our growing Building & Construction team, PSI. The ideal Recruiter candidate will be outgoing, goal oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing a high volume of requisitions. At Intertek, the Recruiter is a key role within the HR team, responsible for the recruiting strategy for various jobs types across multiple industries and states.
- This position is expected to regularly work from an Intertek office 4 days per week, and 1 day is permitted to work remotely.

What you’ll do:
- Source, target, recruit and deliver highly qualified candidates using techniques and resources
- Use various channels to proactively source potential candidates and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Address critical openings proactively to ensure the support and fulfillment of key and strategic positions
- Write job postings and ensure they’re visible in the right places
- Assist with all hiring and onboarding functions, including application, offer, and new employee hiring processes
- Help drive diversity recruiting strategies through candidate sourcing and assisting with diversity recruiting events
- Work within and maintain applicant data to OFCCP and EEO standards
- Provide training and assistance to hiring managers on using the ATS and getting their jobs posted, as well as development and support their knowledge of the overall recruiting process
- Participate in other projects as necessary
What it takes to be successful:
- Associate's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent (required)
- 2 years recruiting experience related to our business (required)
- Experience conducting diversity outreach (preferred)
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (required)
- Demonstrate technical skills/abilities related to the job such as using social media for recruiting, job boards, Excel, and presentation software
