The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging cases, contribute to our firm's reputation, and make a significant impact on our clients' lives.
Responsibilities
As a Litigation Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for managing a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Managing all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Representing clients in court, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
- Conducting legal research to support the firm's cases and to keep abreast of new laws and regulations.
- Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
- Handling insurance property subrogation matters, ensuring that the rights of our clients are protected.
- Collaborating with our team of attorneys to develop effective strategies for each case.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of our clients.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
To be considered for this role, you must have
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar.
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in litigation, (a focus on insurance property subrogation preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in managing all stages of litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
