Our esteemed law firm is on the hunt for a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic team. We specialize in Insurance Law and Civil Litigation, and we are looking for a professional with a strong background in these areas. This is an exceptional opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and challenging environment, working closely with experienced attorneys on high-profile cases. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a proven track record in insurance coverage, insurance fraud, trial practice, legal research, and paralegal duties.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Paralegal in our firm, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Assisting attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation, including organizing and managing case files, drafting legal documents and correspondence, and conducting legal research.
• Providing detailed analysis and interpretation of insurance policies to determine coverage.
• Conducting comprehensive investigations into suspected insurance fraud, including gathering and analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing reports.
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of pleadings and motions in civil litigation cases.
• Coordinating and managing discovery, including document production, depositions, and interrogatories.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of insurance law and civil litigation procedures and providing proactive, strategic advice to attorneys.
• Ensuring strict confidentiality and privacy of client information in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in insurance law and civil litigation.
• A bachelor’s degree in law or a related field, or a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
• Extensive experience with insurance coverage, insurance fraud, and trial practice.
• Proficiency in legal research and the ability to draft clear, concise, and effective legal documents.
• Strong investigative skills and the ability to analyze complex data and information.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A proactive approach to work, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality.
