Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop sourcing strategies for product commodities
- Negotiate costs, terms, and conditions, and manage assigned categories
- Monitor cost trends for key commodities
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and capacities
- Conduct and reconcile batches and monthly inventory
- Negotiate supplier agreements/contracts and maintain vendor relationships
- Maintain organized records of commodities, agreements, vendors, and performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of purchasing/sourcing ingredients
- Strong knowledge of FDA and regulatory agencies
- Experience in lean manufacturing and logistics
