Description
While day-to-day responsibilities may fluctuate, the individual will primarily :
- Maintain positive working relationships with both business development and leadership teams within NSS and have a good understanding of NSS’ strategic priorities.
- Assist Sr. Manager of External Marketing with KBR hosted conferences and events, including on-site logistics, hotels, food and beverage, conference communications (Pre, onsite, and post), and website.
Track expenses and analyze ROI and overall event success.
- Manage memberships and associations to include renewals and benefits, as well as POCs.
- Assist Sr. Manager of External Marketing with coordinating, sourcing, tracking, and assembling assets for RFP submissions.
Ensure accuracy, professionalism and adherence to deadlines.
- Support advertising campaign development, to include research, pricing and timelines for content and execution.
- Assist with analyzing web traffic, leads and advertising measurements to inform marketing strategies and track campaign performance.
- Build and manage marketing automation tools to streamline workflows and optimize campaign execution.
- Liaise with conference / tradeshow vendors and assist with event deliverables.
- Maintain accurate system records and execute effective, thorough and responsive communications to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Execute professional standards of operations and maintain internal processes.
- Lead and maintain integrity of build, ship, receive, store and setup functions.
- Ensure safety, quality, and timeliness of client needs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in event planning, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong desire to develop a lasting career in event coordination and management.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing and event coordination with advanced understanding of trade show execution.
- Effective organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot quickly.
- Travel to events (30% per year) and work flexible hours while onsite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of marketing data and analytics a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate across business units.
- Knowledge of national security, defense, space and government contracts a bonus.
- Competent in MS Office Suite.
