What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Analyst position at Kelly?
Title: Sales Analyst
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC (remote)
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Duration: 1-year Temporary Assignment
Duties:
- Responsible for the successful marketing sales, renewals, and/or service of group and/or individual accounts for products as defined by production quotas within assigned territory. Customarily and regularly engaged in outside sales.
- 50 Develops and executes marketing plans for new sales and/or retention of existing accounts within assigned territory. Prepares and presents proposals and communications to groups, agents, and/or individuals.
- 30 Develops and maintains professional relationships with groups, agents, and/or individuals.
- Assesses agency, agent, group, and/or individual sales opportunities and works with groups, agent, and/or individuals to resolve problem issues.
- 10 Conducts on-going market research and provides key information that may lead to sales.
- Prepares and submits required marketing reports to management detailing how best to position company products. 10 Maintains product/industry knowledge and marketing skills by attending trading seminars, continuing education classes, conferences, etc.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to develop/maintain effective relationships with groups, agents, and potential customers. Knowledge of marketing principles, techniques, and the marketplace.

- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills.
- Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of mathematical or statistical concepts.
Required Software and Tools:
Microsoft Office.
Preferred Software and Tools:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, or other spreadsheet/database software.
Work Environment:
Typical office environment. May involve frequent travel between buildings. May involve some/frequent out of town travel. Work may involve transportation of materials and periods of remaining in a stationary position.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Work Experience:
1-year sales and marketing.
Preferred Work Experience:
3 years customer service, provider network.
Required License and Certificate:
Department of Insurance Licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire in state employed.
