What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Supervisor position at KIDS EMPIRE?
OBJECTIVE:
Manager Cast Member is responsible to supervising the Supervisor Cast Members perform their daily work activities. The Manager Cast Member also assist in performing the Supervisor Cast Member daily work activities as required by the parks daily attendance.
Manager Cast Members are the initial contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Supervisor Cast Members workers perform many tasks with the guest families throughout the amusement park; to ensure the guests are having an excellent and safe time, while at Kids Empire. Interact with families whose children are 2 yrs old to 11 yrs old.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Attending guests as quick as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the amusement park.
- Reports directly to the Corporate District Park Operations Manager.
- Manages the Supervisor Cast Members are performing their job duties satisfactory and achieving production goals.
- Trains Supervisor and Attraction Cast Members to perform the key element of their job duties.
- Prepares employees schedules.
- Oversee the timekeeping system.
- Opens and closes the park via using keys or a code.
- Communicates any guest or employee issues to his/her manager.
- Operating the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver, guest information such as address, name, email address, phone number by having guest utilize an IPAD.
- Operates the front cash counter for receiving the exact bill amount from the guests, managing the cash flow by registering the amount transactions on a daily basis, taking payment from guests by cash or card (credit card / debit card), and providing exact change to the guest if the payment is made by cash.
- Operating the billing transactions accurately by verifying the amount displayed on electronic cash calculator and peripheral electronic data processing unit and operating the multi counting machine for recording the order and computing the bill simultaneously without hassle.
- Organizes the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips and ice cream.
- Checks snack inventory is sufficient and orders snacks from specified vendors to replenish stock.
- Orders from Amazon or Instacart to replenish snack goods inventory.
- Walks the floor regularly to monitor there are no unsafe hazards present and guests are following the park attendance rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Clean restrooms and all sanitize all park structures ie tables, chairs, playground structure.
- Schedule and coordinate family events and assist those events operate efficiently.
- Must be able to work in noisy environment created by guests such as children yelling and music.
- Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours.
- Must be able to work in a tight structure.
- Open availability defined by Kids Empire business hours of operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Stand, walk, bend, twist constantly.
- Frequent bilateral hand movements.
- Good finger dexterity.
