Expanding aerospace manufacturing company has immediate need for an experienced CNC Lathe & Mill Machinist for the new facility located in Northern Phoenix, AZ. Great opportunity to join an established company in a brand new building. Permanent full time position with great benefits!

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Trade school certification in Mill Turn and 2 years experience in Swiss machining OR if no certification will accept 4 years work experience with Mill Turn/Swiss/CNC Lathes and CNC Mills
Responsibilities Include:
- Setup and operate multiple machines simultaneously;
- Checks parts to maintain quality production;
- Trains / Assists other team members on tasks as required;
- Performs regular manual tasks;
- Insures that output normally equals or exceed that expected;
- Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work; Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards;
- Working consistently, working overtime and traveling as required;
- Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner;
- Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks assigned;
- May fill in for area lead as required Skills and Requirements: Applicant must be ITAR compliant.
- Mill Turn and Swiss machine knowledge and experience required;
- Knowledge of various CNC lathe / Mills machining including set-ups and programming fundamentals;
- Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently perform pre-setups or set-ups of certain job operations on Mill Turn, Swiss and CNC lathes / mills;
- Must have, or obtain, first piece inspection stamp;
- Able to read and interpret drawings;
- Experience with, or demonstrated understanding of, machining process automation;
- Understands basics of machine shop / material planning;
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds;
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time;
- Must be able to do repetitive motion, arms, wrists, elbows and shoulders;
