The Nuts and Bolts: Manager, CRM
We are looking for a CRM Manager to be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of CRM campaigns for our new streaming service client.. This person will develop email and push programs to generate subscriber engagement, viewership, and ultimately increase subscriber retention.
The Daily
- Promote key daily, weekly shows, Original Series & Films, and On Demand programming to subscribers to drive engagement & viewership
- Leverage integrated marketing and programming calendars as well as insights from campaign performance to develop subscriber email and push calendar
- Collaborate with content team to generate curated weekly programming recommendations and roundups for subscribers, developing recommendations to optimize email performance towards subscriber viewership
- Oversee email briefing, creative development with creative designers and copywriters, and manage internal feedback and approvals in support of email calendar
- Design A/B tests to optimize email performance & subscriber viewership
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather programming information, assets and develop copy for email and push
- Partner with Analytics team to analyze impact of engagement-driving emails on subscriber viewership
The Essentials
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in email, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, preferably for a SVOD or subscription product
- Strong email-focused marketing experience and understanding of email segmentation and CRM best practices
- Experience interpreting email performance data to identify and design A/B testing opportunities
- Strong collaboration, communications, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational & project management skills
- Experience with mParticle and Zeta is a plus
